anyone ever seen mac and me?

i remember renting a video in the late 1980's and it had a trailer for for a film called "mac and me",i have always wanted to see it but the video shops back then never had it,is it really that bad?.has anyone here ever seen it?

Isn't it a cheap ET rip-off? I seem to rememer a lot of criticism of the movie when it came out because it ran like one long advert for MacDonald's

I saw the film on video. Apart from that i don't remember anything about it.It must have been that great a film

I remember liking it a lot when I was younger, use to have it on VHS, but it was watched so much the tape buggered up. The alien was sooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!
