Anyone else's passenger use the tops of the bag guards for foot rests

After hundreds of dollars of gear (buffer, polish, wax, towels, etc.) and countless hours of work to restore the top of my bag lids I finally got smart.

Now I use the Mustang Saddlebag Lid Cover and have no further issues.

You might want to check with Captain Itch, His wife just made a set of Engine Guard covers that look great. She could probably make the same for your bag guards. Just saying!

My wife used to do that, until she scratched my bags. I have had them painted twice. I have the Kuryakyn add-ons for the rear boards. I know she would still like to do it, and trust me, she looks great doing it, but she knows I don't want to take the bags to the painter's a third time. Still haven't replaced the saddlebag guards that have minor scratches in them.

I have been wondering for a while if there was some kind of option to use those rails. Even with the reach 2 inch higher floorboard brackets, the 4'10" wife still barely can touch them. Perhaps mount some kind of adjustable footpeg on the top of the rail?
