Anyone else wish that celebrities would openly discuss getting fertility treatments?

I feel like if they did, there would be 2 major benefits:

1) There would be less of a stigma / shame for the those of us who need medical assistance to conceive, and

2) It would send a message to young women that no, you do NOT have all the time in the world to get pregnant -- these celebrities who are all having twins well into their forties and fifties had to use expensive, time-consuming treatments.

I for one was dumb enough to think Julia Roberts, Rebecca Romijn, JLo, Geena Davis, Angelina, etc. all had partners with super-sperm. Just off the top of my head. I always thought I could wait forever -- after all, I was young and healthy with regular periods.

Now I am in my 2ww after my 1st cycle of IVF after TTC for 2 years starting when I was 31. Unexplained infertility. Ironically, hoping that I do NOT get twins simply for the mere fact that I don't want everyone assuming I used fertility treatments.

How crazy and pathetic is that?
