Anyone else having problems with '09 Toyota cruise control?

My van 'locked up' and would not disengage by pressing the brake or pulling back on the cruise control lever. Putting the car in neutral finally disengaged the cruise. Dealer found nothing wrong and said that Toyota has not heard of this problem with that model.
 
hmm...it may have been the cars computer system[ecu] that locked up....to much is being put in the hands on onboard computers these days...
