My general symptoms that I have a good deal of the time is as following.
-Ear popping/"raw feeling" inside my head.
-Post nasal drip
-Occasional sore throat when things are bad.
-Sore neck down the sides.
-Headache from the ear irritation
-When I eat regardless of what I eat, I cough up a huge wad of mucus and have to blow my nose after. This usually passes in about 5-10 min after eating.
-My nose is usually dry (take veramyst and astelin for allergy stuff).
-No heartburn at all.
-I have a family history of reflux as well (Dad and Grandfather both had/have it)
I took Acidphex for 2 weeks and it did nothing, but recently went to my current ENT who wanted to revisit the GERD saying 2 weeks wasn't enough time to give it and put me on Nexium for the next 3 months.
I am just wondering if anyone else has had the same symptoms and it turned out to be GERD.
TIA,
Jason
