Anyone else have iPod touch Bluetooth problems?

Hi, so I recently bought my iPod touch, and it works fine. However, the Bluetooth never seems to pick up any devices. Does anybody know whats wrong with it? Its 3.1.2, jailbroken, and it didn't work even before the jailbreak.
