Anyone else get sick of Salvation Army bell ringers?

they're gettin pretty aggressive in our town

in a grocery store entrance i saw a few people just try to walk past and mind their own business, and the ringer yells after them "MERRY CHRISTMASS" translation 'you didnt give money to this particular organization THIS time you wnt into this store, so you dont have my permission to feel good about yoursel"
 
AGGRESSIVE???? They are not trained that way. If you consider their behavior aggressive, you may wish to contact the Salvation Army "local" near you to complain. But I don't see how wishing someone a "Merry Christmas," even if you did NOT give a donation, as being AGGRESSIVE. You seem to be reading a whole lot of guilt into what they are saying.

Oh... and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you!!
