anyone done a verizon v750???

im having troubles getting wap and mms to work.

well it seems like nothing will read mms settings at all, but i might be wrong.

any ideas?
 
Hi. I have gotten WAP to work for the V750 but not for Cricket, although the process should be the same. One hint, use RSD Netconnect, I think you can find it at mobo-files.com. RSD General does not work well with this phone. The thing about that phone is that the gateway is "locked" to Verizon's. I can get it to authernticate into our AAA (I work for a telecommunications company) so I know that HDR settings are setup right. I have made two proxies with our settings in it but the browser keeps defaulting to VZW. The strange thing is that if I let it fail to connect I can go to options/reset browser and then it reaRAB one of the 2 proxy settings that I installed in the phone and then it connects. I have not figured out where the heck the default gateway settigns are found and it does not help that the NVM folder is locked. If you know how to get the browser to point to another gateway other than VZW's as the default I would be willing to share whatever I may have (knowloedge/software) that you may need/want. We have gotten Sprint Q9c's to authenticate and browse properly under EVDO if that is somethign you wish to know how to do. One thing to note, I have read the memory with CDMA Workshop and UniCDMA but still nothing... Thanks!
 
yeah same here, i had one where everything worked just fine for about 3 days then the grl came back and said it was actting odd, got it to work again, it stopped then it 5 days after that it start working but its very odd, she says if she tries to get on the web it wont let her but if she gets a text with a link on it, it will take her to it, as far as mms goes, she can get incoming but no out going now, before it was the other way around.

When you got it to work for those three days, was the WAP working right off the bat, meaning that you did not have to do anything special, all you had to do was open up the browser from the menu and it would work? If yes, what did you do to get it working for those three days like that? I can only get mine to work with the previously mentioned method or if I go into the programming menu, data section, and then select one of the two proxies I made. Thanks!
