There was an article posted today by yahoo that says supposedly Buick and Jaguar are now on top of Toyota corps. Lexus cars for dependability. Anyone truly believe this? I would love to know why.

I believe the Buick part because they are simple cars without many high tech features.
I do not believe the Jaguar part. And I do not believe how Lexus beat Acura.

I own and drive Buicks and have always been facinated by the Jaguar, but have never owned one. It has always been my opinion that they are not very reliable and are expensive to maintain. As for the Buicks, I have no major concerns but would doubt that report as accurate.

I have trouble believing some brands on that list. Why the hell is Jaguar 2nd? Just the problems Jaguar is having with the XF and XK should kick Jaguar way, way down the list. Buick has had some reliable cars for years, but no way do I see them topping Lexus or Toyota. Why is it that Buick is at the top and all the other GM brands are much lower down the list? Buick basically shares the same platforms as all other GM brands. And why does it change so much from year to year? J.D. power 2008 VDS was a very different looking list.
