Anybody knows a game that is similar to the gameplay of the game Myst?

My father love this type of game. He wants me to look out over the internet to try to find any game that the gameplay is similar to the game ''Myst'' which has been released in 1991. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myst#Rereleases_and_ports) Here's some info about the game. This game is about finding stuff and getting to places by finding how to activate the lever that will open the door, for example.
So please, if you know any game that looks like this, tell me.
