Anybody know an online chat service thats safe?

I really want to chat online as I tend to go online a lot. I don't want to be worried while on it though that I could be talking to a weirdo or something.Im a member of msn.Does anyone have any suggestions?

msn is fine.
if you are suspicious about someone you can block them and delete them so there is no need to worry

no online chat room is safe as you dont know who your talking to. twitter is like msn so maybee stick to sites like that and face book.
