doctor just take me off & curious? I had my doctor take me off the Metformin because it wasn't giving me a period like I wanted and BC does. I was also getting the feeling of low blood sugar often when on it. I would take 500 mg. 2x a day and since my eating schedule is a little crazy these days, was having a tough time spacing the doses out because of not wanting to eat a certain times. I just don't like to be on too many meds if I don't have to. My doctor weened me off and had me take half the dosage for three days and it's my first day completely off of it. Have any of you had weird things happen when coming off Metformin? Is there anything I should know? Suggestions and advice much appreciated. Thanks!!
