My 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V8 has been stalling when Idling, and I am thinking it is the fuel filter. When I get going or give it gas it is fine, but when I come to a stop sign sometimes it idles way low and stalls. The last couple days it has been fine, so I am thinking it might have been something do do with the fuel filter. Anyone know what could be the problem?
Onto my next dilemma.. I was told that, in order to replace the fuel filter, I have to basically replace the whole fuel filter because it is built in. Is this true, or can I really just replace the filter?
If anyone has answers to either of these questions, please let me know! I am stumped!
