Any world cups in 2008?

Are there going to be any more world cups in any sport with Canada participating in them? Not including the Fifa World Cup since Canada is out of that.

No more "world cups" in 2008...or 2009 for that matter. The next World Cup of football takes place in 2010 in South Africa (at the moment).
 
World cup happens every four years, the next, like Josie said, is in two year, qualifying for that is happening just now. The qualifying campaign is made up of teams from the same continent - Europe, Asia, Africa etc. So Canada will be in the North, Central America & Caribbean one (which is known as CONCACAF) since it's in North America.
