any word on a 3G blackberry for t-mo?

That's not a curve replacement that's just an entry level bb like the pearl. The 8900 is the curve replacement!

If the 8900 is the curve replacement why they still selling the 8320,as soon as the 8520 hit the site the 8320 price dropped

I personally think that the 8520 is geared more for entry level or for businesses. To me it looks more like a workhorse and the price is right. Word is that WalMart will be carrying it for $48...its all about market share.

The 8520 is going to really target the entry level consumer. It's an 8900, minus the GPS, a slightly smaller screen, and it replaces the trackball with a trackpad. The big selling point on this device is that it will be the first to be fully Mac compatible, right out of the box. No updates required. The Driftwood is still rumored to hit T-Mo in September and will be their first 3G BB offered in the U.S.

the blackberry onyx or the "bold 2" (97xx series) is supposed to be coming out around the holiday season. Ive only heard around the first week of november. Has 3g and wifi and gps
.

Well I think it would be pretty soon since they already sent some workers for testing?

i sure hope so. i've been out of a bb since mine got stolen back in june. i'm eligible for my 2 year upgrade, but holding off on using it until the onyx/driftwood/97xx comes out.

I picked up the 8520 out of necessity...my old curve went crummy on me, but I had to pay full price But I'll be eligible for an upgrade in december just in time for new 3G blackberries

Yea I second that, the 9700 looks so clean... Can't wait!!!
