Any way to improve performance on a 2003 toyota corolla automatic?

this car was given to me, i was going to buy a civic stick, but i couldnt refuse accepting a free car. so anyone know any way i can improve the performance on this car. no ricing at all... im thinking intake, quiet exhaust system, headers, sport tires?
 
Most bang for the buck in headers and intake improvements, just make sure you keep it smog legal when buying parts. You might wish to improve suspension with performance shocks and lower profile tires.
 
You pretty much got all the basics down. After that you could go with some ECU tuning and a new suspension setup. If you get into more serious modding you could look into driveline and brake upgrades.
