I was wondering if anyone could suggest a brand of vitamins that has been helpful with their hair loss and condition of hair. I would love to pick some up tomorrow and there are so many to choose from. I read up and the main vitamins needed are B2, Vit A, Vit E, Vit C and Biotin (keratin) which says it also helps combat grey. Before I go wasting money I would LOVE your input...I would prefer to get one pill/formula and not multiple pills. Any good brands/combos? Thanks!

I just started this combo about two weeks ago. I've heard, because of how hair grows, it can take 4 to 6 months to see any effect. I'm not expecting new hair growth but I'd like to see some slowing of the hair "shedding" I've experienced from having chronic inflammatory arthritis + medications.

NatureMade Super B-Complex, an extra 500 mcg B12 and Biotin 2500mcg. These are all small pills, easy even for me to take and I have throat problems.

I've been thinking of switching to their Stress B-Complex, which also has vit C, vit E and zinc, for flu season. It's a larger pill than the Super complex, I'd hoped they'd come out with a smaller version. (NatureMade has been coming out with a whole new "smaller" line of pills)

I like NatureMade, they have a reward points program for free product coupons, and they're made with no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, yeast, glutens or starch.

hey tat, do you actually know just what is creating your hair loss? do you have ANY actual sympathetically generated pain issues or just damage to your symp at all(i just KNOW we have chatted before on some boards here)? this is the reason for my very profound hair loss that started shortly after my cord was injured and my SNS was hit during my surgery. it IS the sympathetic nervous system that actually governs our hair and nail growth, so any true damage to it can lead to some pretty profound hair loss, along with more brittle nails too. just an FYI for ya.

i personally have lost like three times the normal hair volume i used to have becasue of this. ironically i was just reading some testing they did that was in the MSN stuff when i logged on this morning that showed using the pantene fuller thicker hair stuff(shampoo and conditioner) has been proven in recent testing to actually increase the hair itself in overall volume/circumfrence and the follicles are a bit stronger too. they tested the pantene with other products that "claimed' to thincken hair and the pantene did the best overall where the trial subjects along with the testers actually measuring hair shafts really DID see/feel a real difference. just something you can try that i am going to switch to myself. i already use pantene, and love it, but not THAT particular one with the 'fuller thicker' label on it. mine just says 'volumizing. i do think even that has helped at least stop what was a huge ongoing hairloss where you could never even see my scalp before becasue i just had way too much hair? that changed post op and i can now very easily see my scalp. thats what i noticed first actually.

i don't know much about the vitamins but just what i read this morning ironically about the pantene and the testing they did. anything may help ya know? if you find out anything, let me know here before i go bald,K?lol, good luck tat, marcia
