Any tips for doing ride alongs on the ambulance? Pre-EMT Trainings.?

I've been with HASEMS for 13 months now, haven't missed a meeting, or anything. Achieved my CPR First Aid, did all the trainings. Starting ride alongs soon. Any tips, or pointers anyone can give me that will help? Thanks!
 
Don't ask the inevitable questions like 'What's the worst thing you've ever seen?'. They do not go down well and the ambulance service don't like trauma seekers. You could try catching the crew off guard with 'Whats the nicest job you've been to?'.

Also do everything your told. Stand where you're told and generally speak when spoken to. Sounds harsh but you have to appreciate the environment you're in.

Don't be put off by any grumblings or moans you here, we ambulance lot like a good groan. Best of luck, hope you enjoy yourself.
