I need some tips of organizing and decorating my living room/bedroom. The dining room is already taken care of, but I have been here over a year and want to change things up a bit and nothing I am doing on my own is working. So any ideas of furniture positioning?
The room steps down and is definitely seperate from the dining room so nothing can overlap, also there are 2 full size sliding glass doors.... 4 door sized window total.

Queen bed (maple)
6 ft. long dresser (maple)
2 ft. long nightstand (maple)
32" tv on same size stand (black)
2 ft. long small book shelf (black)
2.5 ft. long book shelf (black)
2 small maple end tables about 1 ft. each
A black dish style chair
An orange lounge/rocking chair (probably getting rid of this eventually for color reasons but not yet)
I also have 2 small floor lamps because there are no ceiling lights
Right now I have the room semi-seperate into bedroom on the left side (with the kitchen wall hiding the bedroom side a bit) and living room on the right side. Any suggestions?
