Any tips for coping with having a signifigant other incarserated/in jail/prision ?

My boyfriend of almost 2 years is in jail .
It's for a somewhat-minor offence. Hit & run with great bodily injury .
He was in a car with about 4 other guys, they were all under the influence, he was the passanger but he's getting blamed for being the driver .

I don't know . I don't have any money to put on my phone so I could speak to him, he writes me but we still have no idea what's going to happen. I miss him like crazy .
Before he left, he was a great part of my life . We spent every minute we could together , or on the phone , on IM . everything .
Now that he's not here I hardly have anything of intrest to fill my day .
I just wanted to know if anyone out there has ever went through having their loved ones taken from them & thrown into jail, or if anyone is going through it right now . How did/are you coping with it and if you have any advice for me?
I'd appriciate it. Thanks .
 
Visit him as much as you can, tell him to be on his best behavior. If he is a good boy for a while, he can get 1/3 of his sentence time instead of the full 2 years.
 
I think if he truly cares about you, then he would want you to move on with your life.
