Any tips for a "red carpet" themed birthday/farewell party?

Hey, so I'm going to have a red carpet themed birthday party later on this year, and I would also like to make it a farewell party as well because I'm going to boarding school next year. If you have any deco, invitation, planning or any other advice and tips, please feel free to answer. Thanks!! =)
And I'm turning 13 and it will be spring if that helps. =)
