I live in Escondido, CA (30 miles north of San Diego) and I would like very much to go somewhere very pretty and scenic (thinking like Colorado/Portland). I drive home from school in Abilene TX every break and its a 17 hour drive so I obviously don't mind driving long distances. I would go as far as Montana (which for some reason, I really want to go there).
Just wondering if there are are any really cool places/attractions for one person driving to go to. It can be 10-15 hours away; I don't care. I just haven't been around much and I would like to see more.
