I have a Laburnum tree that is on it's last legs - it's blooms are stunted etc. I assume the structure to be sound, I don't want to remove the tree as it provides a shield against a really ugly trampolining kid in an adjacent garden.
So - thought of maybe a rambling rose, but I don't want tasteful.. I want rampant in-your-face gaudiness.
I'm in NW England, the position of the tree is full sun, and I am on heavy clay.
