...come on at all ? Help !? My car radio was working fine and then one day it randomly turned off. Every time after that I could turn it on but then after 10-15 minutes would go back off on its own. Sometimes after it had gone off I couldnt turn it back on for a while. Now it does not work at all and looks like their is no power going to it. I took it to an auto electrician and he tested it and said that the radio is broke, but its a new radio. He said that my ground is ok and the other wires are fine. Should I buy a multimeter and test it myself or buy a new radio and hope that it works? I thought it would of been a circuit short or a blown fuse but I can't find any and I dont know how to take all of the dash apart to look for any problems in the circuitry. I have the radio out and thats it so I can't see any further back.
I have checked the fuses in the fuse box and the one in the back of the radio and none of them are blown. Im completely baffled.
