Any recommendations for a Henry James novel to start with? I have already purchased "The American", but do not know if this would be the most interesting.
Kudos to you for reading Henry James. He's kind of a challenge but very well worth it. I've read the Turn of the Screw which was superb and so i recommend it. Then probably the Portrait of a Lady which is also excellent.
