Next year I plan to join my local tae kwon do dojang again after breaking my leg and I realised we never did full contact training. The lessons compromised of stretching, poomsae practice, bag kicking and then non contact sparring where I was basically just kicking the air and yelling. Would there be any point in learning all the kicks if I can never try them out? Also as I don't know what it is like to be punched, will I crash to the floor as soon as i get hit if i was in a real fight?
