contraceptive injection? I've been on the injection for about a year and a half now, and to start off with I never noticed any mood swings. But over the last 6-9 months I have definitely noticed mood swings that I just can't control.
When i'm happy I feel on top of the world. But when i feel down i feel really miserable, sometimes i burst into tears for no reason. The smallest thing can get on my nerves and change my mood completely.
Most of the time I can tell that its just me being irrational but i just cant shake the mood. My mood swings never make me aggressive in any way, but I get so depressed and miserable that I don't want to go out or talk to anyone.
I'm worried that it may start affecting my relationship with my boyfriend. He is very understanding, but surely there is only a certain amount he can take.
I don't really want to come off the injection, as it has stopped my period (you girls must understand how much of a blessing that is).
Do you have any tips to help me back up when i'm feeling down?
