I want to compare how you process negative thoughts and feelings compared to how I do!?
Im a total beginner but already im seeing fantastic results!
So when Im being mindful / present (at least I think im in the present its hard to tell sometimes because im always hard at work observing the MANY many negative thoughts/feelings to make them go away)
So basically im watching my own mind and walking around doing whatever and if a negative thought comes up I notice it ASAP and it goes away and if I don't spot it quickly enough (the creep in very sneakily sometimes) it causes the negative emotion (for me anxiety) but I simply watch that and it also goes away.
Is that how you experience the present or is that how it was when you were a beginner and how is it for you now?
Also have I got the basic idea so be in the present moment aware and mindful of your mind and whatever your doing (hard to multitask sometimes!!?) and try to notice any negative thoughts as they come up before they cause the negative emotion and basically just be vigilant at watching out for them!
Have I got that right?
I suffer with anxiety and obssesive thoughts so a calm mind would be awesome any happyness and loving kindness on top of that would be like a massive bonus!
