Hi...by not typical I mean that I have eliminated all supposed trigger fooRAB, but they were never a problem to begin with, with the exception of onions. I can lie down after lunch and take a nap, with no problems....the occassional mild burn, which a tums takes care of....When I get bad symptoms its usually once a month, sometimes twice....I always get symptoms 3-4 hours AFTER eating dinner. I am always Sitting up on the couch watching tv or reading... I know I have Gerd (i have erosions in esophgus), but wonder if my " attacks" are something different? Anyone else have any ideas? My attacks consist of a horrific crampy sharp colicky pain that starts in my mid back, near spine and progresses to sometimes pain in throat/neck, with a few attacks (lately) with the feeling that there is some food coming back up. Gaviscon is what helps, but I have to take it every five minutes...The pain typical waxes and wanes for 90 minutes. I also take prevacid twice a day.
