I just noticed this vibration from my rear brakes today. 2010 Flhtcu Ultra Classic. I keep feeling someting like somethings loose under the frame. Checking all the engine mounts tommorow, 1800 miles and it just started this crap. At low spped braking it pulsates like crazy. Never did this before today. Checking torque on every nut and bolt on the b$^)^ tommorow

same problem here 2010 Road King. only felt with rear brakes applied. have 4000 miles on it and seems its only been here the last 1000 miles. I chocked it up as normal along with the front brake squeek and the right side exhaust heat

I have the same problem. It’s really pronounced when riding two up and packed for a trip. It happens mostly at low speed and dragging the rear brake to stop. It was almost shaking my teeth out. I thought it was brake related and stopped at Black Hills HD to check it out on my trip this past weekend. They had a guy that just test rode bikes. I chatted with him for a few minutes and he took it for a test ride. He felt it. He cut the engine while in a low speed stop just dragging the rear brake and it went away. He told me to do the same thing and sure enough it went away. I’m totally convinced it’s a drive train problem or harmonic vibration issue with the drive train and brake. The problems seems to be less with less weight on the bike. I didn't have Black Hills HD look at it because I was there for 2.5 hours and they couldn't get to it any time soon because they were too busy, WTF?

I have a 2010 Limited and have notice the same thing a vibration of the engine through the drivetrain while apling the rear brake. Also in another post i think you have to squeeze and put more pressure on the rear pedal to get it to stop. It has go better with miles. My 2003 was smooth as silk with the rear brake clutch in or out no vibration just felt the pad braking against the rotor. Scott

My 2010 SG just started doing it and I only have 2K on it. My 07 SG never did it and I put 53K on it. A friend of mine has a 10 EG with 11K and he said his does it too. But it just does not seem right, feels like something is wrong.

I thought it was the ABS kicking in the first couple of times even though I wasn't braking that hard. I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow to see what story they come up with.

Yes, my back brakes vibrate just sitting over night. What i usually do is get going somewhat fast and hammer on the rear brakes. Problem solved. I assume that the pads are glazing. It sucks that I have to do this to a new bike with new brake pads on, but I assume its the nature of the beast. And I am cheap enough to let it ride till they wear out.

my 2010 flhtk just clocked over 2600 miles. two days ago - no issues. yesterday, on a ride with my wife this started happening. just doesnt feel right. slightly comforted to jump on the forum to find that i am not alone. will try to slam the brakes to day and see if that helps. so bummed to have a brand new bike and have this happen. all the miles prior had no braking issues.
