I am a non-native speaker of English.
I am writing about 311 disaster that hit Japan.

Dear English native speakers, could you point out any mistake in the following sentences?

First of all, we thank you for all the help and aid from worldwide, regarding 3-11 disasters that struck Japan.

On March 11, Japan’s north-east area was hit by a big earthquake followed by a tsunami, killing over 14,000 people.

Many towns and villages ware damaged and destroyed.

Japan is in the process of overcoming the largest earthquake in history.
With the help from around the world, we are fighting for restoration.

What Japan is fighting is not only damages caused by the disasters, but also “harmful rumors”.

The explosion at Fukushima First Power Plant, caused by the tsunamis, is the one of world's most serious nuclear accidents.
Some may concern about hazards of radioactivity.

But dangerous area is very limited, 30-kilometer (19-mile) radius of the plant in Japanese standard, 80-kilometer (50-mile) in the U.S. Standard.

In downtown Fukushima, thousand of trains and cars are stopping and passing every day, without any protection equipments.

Although spinach and some kind of vegetables in east Japan, were poisoned and stopped shipping, almost all agricultural products, including these of Fukushima are safe, free from radioactivity, and delicious.
Japan’s strict regulations stop shipping any suspicious products.

In fact, Mr. Wen Jiabao, Chinese Premier and Mr. Lee Myung-bak, Korean President, visited Fukushima, and ate Fukushima Cherry, on May 21.

Of course, Japanese industrial products are safe, not only high-quality.

Visiting Japan is “more than safe”.
You can enjoy Okinawa’s beach resorts, Kyoto’s ancient historical architecture, Tokyo’s exciting sub-culture, and so on.

If you are going to visit Japan, please do not hesitate to do so.
Japan welcomes you!
Canceling visit is missing your enjoyable travel.

Your deep understanding and help will be greatly appreciated.
And, please enjoy and help Japan and Japanese products.

Thank you.
