So when were the Mets established in New York?? Was it right after the Brooklyn Dodgers (today LA Dodgers) left to Los Angeles and the New York Giants left to San Francisco (today SF Giants). And were the three official teams of New York before the 1960, the Yankees, Dodgers and Giants? Anybody know.
I asked my friend who is Mets fan, but I don't think he knows. I asked him if his grandfather was a Dodgers or Giants fan when he was kid, but he says he always was a Mets fan, but the Mets didn't even exist?? Or did they??
