Any more news on the litter recall?

I just tried to buy the crystal litter at the Walmart in Durant,OK. They would not sell it to me, but could not tell me why. I lost a 11 year old female house cat 2 weeks ago, she was diagnosed with liver failure. The crystal litter was all she ever used. Could the litter be a health problem?
 
So sorry for the loss of your cat.I have not read of a litter recall.
This sounds very unusual.I would consult with your vet and see if
he or she knows of litter being a health problem.
