Any information on Jeep transmission leak?

I am looking to by a car this lady says exactly this,"It's leaking transmission fluid so there's more then likely a hole in it." It is a 1995 Jeep Grand cherokee Laredo/ 4WD with 209k miles. What should I expect the problem to be? Worse case scenario or best case! General price range to expect would be great too! I am willing to get any information throw my way! I hope including the car information helps to get more accurate answers!
