i need a 64-bit processor. What do I do?? Under Control Panel - System, I see:
PROCESSOR: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU T2310 @1.46GHz 1.47GHZ
MEMORY (RAM): 3062 MB
SYSTEM TYPE: 32-bit Operating System
I have no idea what to buy or what to even look for. I've seen a few youtube videos on upgrading, and it looks simple enough when you have your parts in front of you, but my problem is that i don't know what parts to get. I understand i have to upgrade the actual part, but do i have to do anything to upgrade the software or will my laptop just read the new processor? I really dont know anything about the anatomy of laptops. Im just trying to gather as much info as i can to make this upgrade.
What part do i buy?? What will fit my laptop??
