I have just met a guy from New Orleans who works on a tug boat as captain. We've been comunicating by phone, text and e-mail. Now he is dredging out along the Atlantic ocean between Norfolk and Florida and mentioned that cell phone signals come and go. I've not heard from him and curious if this cell phone signal and/or no time or ability to communicate with outside world is normal in this occupation?
Any info on the lifestyle of tug boat workers from New Orleans?
