In for Immolation and Belphegor. Haven't heard any Rotting Christ, any suggestions on what CD to check out, what do they sound like? Fuck I need to go to a show, it's been a fucking while.
 
I haven't heard too much of Rotting Christ, but from what I have heard they seem like a pretty decent band.

Immolation on the other hand are mind blowing. The new album is incredible.
 
Hopefully Immolation will come down this way within the next year or so.

Suffocation toured here early last year but it was 18+ and I was 17 at the time. Really wanted to see them.
 
Satanas Tedeum, is the only album I have. I got it in the mid/late 90's when I was starting to get into Black Metal. its a great album, black metal for sure. Honestly I haven't listened to it in at least 8 years but I remember liking it.
 
so Shadows In The Light is good? awesome. haven't heard it, I really don't listen to enough Brutal Death Metal any more, I used to be all about it. even in 1997 when I looked like fucking Nate Frost from Carpathian Forest man there used to be such a fucking great metal scene in San Francisco when I lived there. I remember seeing Immolation at the Mairtime Hall in SF in 99-00ish right when Failures For GoRAB came out No Jesus No Beast blew my fucking mind.
 
I'm gong for Belphegor and Averse Sefira. Mid tempo death metal (Immolation) is pretty boring live, and Rotting Christ has always been pretty mediocre. I'm looking forward to the concert!
 
Oh yes, Shadows in the Light was definitely very good. Unfortunately there's not such a big scene here in Australia. We do have a lot of metal fans but I don't think it's anything in comparison to the US or Europe. I'm hoping that Immolation will down here to tour sometime soon though.

Might have to check out some more of Rotting Christ then as well.
 
omg, I remember when the Bezerker played at the SF Pound, I kept yelling "Crikey!" and "She's a beaut!" and whatever other Crocodile Hunter catch phrases I could think of. I was so fucking drunk.
 
Rotting Christ is pretty unique for a extreme metal band. their latest album was AWESOME. a welcome change from the other, more cookie-cutter stuff last year.
 
well the show is tonight. I still don't have tickets (because I totally forgot about the show) but I'll probably just show up at the door. fuck thursday shows I gotta be at work tomorrow whatever thats what adderall is for lol.

I feel bad pimping the Dark Throne avy when I really only listen to 2 of their albums and mostly just Transilvanian Hunger...but everybody knows that real black metal fans only listen to like 4 CD's but own every release and every boot leg from every black metal band to have ever existed lol.
