I am currently residing in the USA as an illegal immigrant. I was brought into the U.S. when I was only three months old, OBVIOUSLY it was not my choice to come in as an illegal alien, but it is what is. I am now 18...I turned 18 on February and am attending college...Since I am undocumented I DO NOT qualify for federal financial aid, work-study programs, and scholarships. I don't believe I am taking an American college spot, because every year, many seats are open...I am here to fill one empty spot. But to the point, I have realized that even though I graduate with a 4.0 I will not be able to find a job. I am not cocky, or want to sound like I am bragging, but honestly, I exceed when it comes to academics. It is ridiculous to throw away 12 years of FREE public education giving to me...American tax payer money has been invested in me so much, why not let me help the U.S. economy....
I am considering returning to the country I was born in, Mexico, even though I know nothing about. It may sound pathetic, but I don't even know how to properly read Spanish....
What would be the process if I want to apply to enter legally into the USA?
Would I be giving a ten year ban, perhaps three?
I am considered an adult now, and I really do not want to keep breaking the law with my presence in the U,S.
