Hey,
Well, im 16 at the minute.
Anyway, When i read, i always seem to skip lines or words. Furthermore, when i read outloud, i sometimes stumble over what im saying, even though i can read them in my head easily.
Also, in maths, i can solve equations quite simply, but as soon as someone says 'take *enter number* from *enter number* i just sit there and sit there, the answer is in my head, yet i seem to always keep it there, or i just get the answer and it gets mixed up some how with something else However, if someone tells me to write it down and do it, i can, easily. Another thing with maths, is when reading out large numbers, ( like into the billions, etc) i get mixed up over what im saying, and its so frustrating.
Thing is, im in all the highest sets in all my classes, and ive gotten part of my maths exam back (above C) and all my english coursework are A's and A*'s. Just its annoying, in science when the teacher is explaining stuff in chemistry, i just get lost :| but as soon as he comes to me and draws a diagram, or something, i understand it better. Ive also got a high IQ.
Well, someone said to me it might be dyslexia, but im 16, and its never occured to me it might be that.
thanks.
EDIT: For the reading thing, i also get it, where i read over something, and then i go back and read it again, and i get the impression that im a bit confused or i somehow i dont know what it is, untill ive read it a few times. :/ its very annoying.
