Any ideas for big history project? Has to be Canadian history.?

I'm doing a project in school called historica fair. It's basically science fair but its history. The project has to be on anything that has something to do with Canadian history. I'm looking for something that will be fun to do and something that has a lot of information about it on websites and stuff.
Some information about my self is that I'm half Japanese half Canadian. so if it has something to do with Japan it would be nice.
