any good storys about camping or hiking with dog?

i love to hear storys of people of people going into the wilderness with there pets especily ones of survival or just round a camp fire or when the dog chases a bear i want to hear them all so tell me you storys
 
this is kind of on subject. my ex wife, a friend, his wife, their dog, and i were camping. it was late and we were pretty drunk. i decided i wanted a bacon double cheeseburger. as i was frying the bacon in the skillet, the dog broke its chain. they were all trying to catch it, and i was steady cooking some bacon (REALLY wanted that burger). i took the skillet off of the fire just as the dog and my friend came running behind me. the dog hit my leg and i spun around....right into my friend!! the grease from the bacon coated him from his elbow to his hand. i spent the rest of the night listening to him dunk his hand into the cooler and waiting to be killed for burning him lol.
 
yea me my mom and my dog were going to go walking in the woods and my dad made me a couple of these things to catch birds and lizards.So as we were walking my mom walked right over a snake lol this is so funny my mom jumped at least 2 feet in the air and ran back to the RVso i decided to catch it with that snare so i did and my dog decided to eat it he jumped up and grabbed it and ran and came back with a bloody snare witch i caught a bird with and it was a seagull and it kinda bit my toe and ran off with my snare.lol :-)
