Any good scene styles for curly hair?

I don't straighten it very much, because it usually takes about an hour, but I'm really sick of just leaving it down and curly. A lot of people at my school curl their hair or have really cool side bangs, so I was wondering if I could still cut my hair in layers while having my curly hair not look terrible. They can be really short layers, as long as their noticeable though. This how curly my hair is.
