Planning a year long, tight budget trip to Europe, N. Africa, & Middle East. Found that just one day in any Scandinavian city will cost 3 times as much as it would in any other city I will visit. Worth it or just skip Scandinavia altogether? Also, I am over 60 and this trip is a priority on my "Bucket List" and the less expensive places are the ones I want to see the most anyway.
Any good reason to visit expensive Scandinavia on long backpacking trip to Europe?
