My daughter was a freshman in college last year. She did not show good academic progress because she dropped 3 classes past the drop dead line. So she did not successfully complete a sufficient percentage of courses attempted. Her GPA is 2.4. There is no excuse other than she was irresponsible and did not understand the implications of doing this. She is now committed to working hard and focusing on school and has even been awarded an RA position on campus. without finanical aid she will be unable to attend. Any suggestions on what to state in the letter to get her aid reinstated?
Any good ideas for getting letter of appeal for financial aid approved?
