I live in Maryland, close to BWI Airport and I have been very interested in pursuing a hobby or possibly a career in training horses. Not racehorse training but western riding or pleasure/trail horses. I plan to go to vet school and I would love to do some training alongside with being an equine vet. I just wanted to know if anyone knew of any good camps for teenagers or young adults 15-17 years old or so. I am looking for a good beginners camp that shows people the basics of training horses like teaching young foals to wear halters and walk with you and such. if you have any good suggestions or reccomendations, please let me know.
