any fishkeepers out there in the Uk my outdoor pool is half frozen and some of my fish..

...are floating to the top? they appear lifeless but not dead have removed two from the pond and have them in a bucket and they seem to have recovered now one of my very large ghost koi has started to turn upside down and become lifeless anyone have any idea what could be wrong

sounds to me like oxygen starvation,id invest in an air pump fitted with an air stone,not only will this put oxygen in ,it will help stop the pond freezing.
