I have a 5.5L tank with light, filter pump and heater. My room is pretty small so that's all that will fit. Are there any fish or something that can live there? 
I've never kept any fish before, but I was thinking of a Betta... then again it looks kinda small for a Betta to swim around. I like neon tetras but they should be in a school of at least 5, and a 5.5L tank is definitely too small for them to live in
Strange it is, the aquarium dude said I can keep 5-10 tetras in that tank and I was horrified XD But yeah... anything? What about a ghost shrimp?
At the moment, my tank is empty but it looks pretty nice for decoration, but I would love to have something living in there at least... Any suggestions?
Aww damn... I'm not really sure where to get ghost shrimps... My filter is a sponge filter XD It's those 200L/hr flow rate with carbon cartridge inside... There's also a small chunk of driftwood and a mini live plant atm. That's bout it.

Oh what about a glass catfish? Can 2 of those live in my tank? :S
