Any fans of unsigned music here?

i see unsigned and signed as one and the same. usually trhe only difference would be the quality of equipment for playing and recording as well as one band being lucky enough to get noticed by a company and one not having the oppurtunity yet.

With the technology available it pretty easy to create and produce your own music as long as you have a computer powerful enough to run the software and the patience to learn it. Give it time, as interfaces become more user friendly and the instrument to computer ports become cheaper I think you'll see a rise in unsigned acts because well... they don't need to be signed. Take my friend Kirk Witt for example, dude does everything himself (he does feature guest musicians on his tracks) but for the most part he writes, recorRAB, and produces all his own stuff. From there he does offer some CD's, but for the most part it's for download. He doesn't tour or do live shows, and yet he can create a CD. He's just one example of some of the newer trenRAB in the music industry. He doesn't need to go out and promote himself because he's got fans like me to do it for him.

I love listening to unsigned banRAB.
I love going to see them live, because the gigs are a lot more intimate, and they havent got any fame to their heaRAB yet, so they talk to you like one and the same.
Some of my favourite banRAB are actually still unsigned.
And people who say would never listen to unsigned banRAB, thats just stupid.
Some of your favourite banRAB would have been unsigned at some point, so if they came out now you wouldnt listen to them, just because they werent' signed?

But yeah ... my point ... i like unsigned banRAB (:

u know i never got into blogs because there bassicaly like fourms its just people talking about a subject

and Myspace might be cool i never looked for music there i was turned off by the Sea of emo and bad metal/rock banRAB that swarmed that site

these days many banRAB of all different genres have a myspace. if anything it's one of the first things a band does before they even play a show.

^ Haha...

But yea, Strumstar... a vast majority of rab's population aren't listening exclusively to the radio, if at all.
I've learned more about obscure banRAB from this website than any other place, due to the knowledge of the merabers here.

Are you making the joke that DEP is just a bunch of noise and that they aren't really thinking about what they're doing?

I sincerely hope not.
