Any fans of Hal Smith?

One of my favorite voice actors and made alot of childhoods.

He was Goofy, Moe on American Tail, the original Yupa in the Warriors of the Wind cut of Nausicaa, Glumgold/Gyro on Ducktales, Owl on Winnie The Pooh, the three voices on Yogi's Christmas, Santa Claus in various cartoons, Mr. Slate on The Flintstones and so many more.

I always thought he got too much guff for his Elmer Fudd in two Looney Tunes cartoons and a few '60s commercials. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't as good as the iconic Arthur Q. Bryan, but he wasn't bad by any means.

Just a little correction there. He never voiced Mr. Slate on 'The Flintstones.' That was John Stephenson. I'm sure he did other voices on the show though.

I thought he was the voice of Mr. Slate, you proven me wrong. He was also the mayor and Lord Killdarby on Real Ghostbusters as well.

Who remembers Fuzzbucket? he was the voice of that critter.

Wow! I thought I was the only one who remembered that movie. I'll have to look for that one and see if I recognize Hal as Fuzzbucket.

I guess we're even, Den. I taught you something and you taught me something. Lol.

BTW, did Hal Smith voice Goofy in anything else besides 'Mickey's Christmas Carol?' I was just wondering about that since a lot of people voiced him in the 80s before Bill Farmer took over the role.

That's cause it is him as that critter, i noticed his iconic voice which is known to animation lovers and i saw that movie on NBC when it first aired.

Yes he was Goofy and the voice of Ratty in Christmas Carol. There was also Uncle Gustus on The Littles as well.
