Any doctor know about the after effects of war?

After world war 2 some people went to a camp where they would get used to the real world again. I think you served your country, and that is nothing to be ashamed of. You did your part. its hard to get over things but you just have to put it in the back of your mind.

I think you have PTSD or known as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It mostly comes from what you've seen and experienced in war. This is all in your brain, many soldiers that i've known have joined small groups where they talk out loud about what they've seen. Some go to psychologists to get a better insight. This is not a disorder you can fix normally with medicine. It takes time, patience, and people. It's always better to say it outloud. Good luck.

Im 24. I served in the military with SF (special forces). Ive done horrible things to people, seen disturbing shit. I have been deployed to 22 different countries. It is now haunting me, i have nightmares, i wake up with nosebleeds sometimes and before this i have never ever had a nosebleed. Its ruining everything for me. what should i do? I feel crazy.
